Important customer information according to Art. 13 GDPR

We process personal data in accordance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG-new)

Based on your consent

a) Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR
Purpose: The processing takes place for the purposes of advertising measures or participation in a competition.
Revocation option: A given consent can be revoked at any time. This also applies to the revocation of advertising consent that was granted before the GDPR came into force. The revocation of consent does not affect the legality of the data processing that has taken place up to that point.

b) To fulfill contractual obligations
Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR
Purpose: The processing of data takes place to provide contractually guaranteed services.

c) Due to legal requirements
Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR
Purpose: We are subject to legal obligations, i.e. legal requirements (e.g. money laundering law). The purposes of processing include the fulfillment of tax reporting obligations.

d) in the context of balancing interests
Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR
Purpose: If necessary, we process your data for the actual fulfillment of the

3. Data transfer / recipient of the data

Within the company, those who need your data to fulfill their contractual or legal obligations have access to it. Service providers used by us may also receive data for these purposes. These are companies in the categories of IT service providers, print service providers, logistics, telecommunications, accounting, debt collection, advertising, appointment coordination, advice and consulting as well as sales and marketing.

  1. Data transfer to a third country or to an international organization

    Data is transferred to offices in countries outside the European Union (so-called third countries) as part of the tasks of certain service providers who may have their company headquarters or parent company in a third country. According to Art. 45 GDPR, a transfer is permitted if the European Commission has decided that there is an adequate level of data protection in a third country. If the Commission has not taken such a decision, we or one of our service providers may transfer personal data to a third country or to an international organization only if appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g. standard data protection clauses adopted by the Commission or the supervisory authority in a specific procedure) and enforceable rights and effective remedies are available. We have contractually agreed with our service providers that they themselves and the subcontractors commissioned by them must comply with European data protection standards and European data protection law.

  2. Period of Data Storage

    We process and store your personal data as long as it is necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations.
    If the data is no longer required for the fulfillment of contractual or legal obligations, they are regularly deleted, unless (limited) further processing is required, e.g. for the following purposes: Fulfillment of commercial or tax storage obligations under the German Commercial Code (HGB), the tax code ( AO), the Money Laundering Act (AMLA). The retention periods specified there are two to ten years. The statute of limitations can be up to 30 years for the preservation of evidence within the framework of the statutory statute of limitations according to §§ 195 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB). However, the regular limitation period is three years.

6. Data subject rights

Every data subject has the right to information (Article 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR), the right to erasure (Article 17 GDPR), the right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), the right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR) and the right to object (Article 21 GDPR). With regard to the right to information and deletion, the restrictions under §§ 34 and 35 BDSG-new apply.

Every data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR in conjunction with Section 19 BDSG-new).
You can revoke your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. This also applies to consent that was granted before May 25, 2018 (validity of the GDPR). The revocation applies to the future, processing before the revocation is not affected and therefore remains lawful.

  1. Obligation to provide data

    As part of our business relationship, you must provide the personal data that is required for the establishment and implementation of a business relationship and the fulfillment of the contractual obligations or that we are legally obliged to collect.

    Without this data, we will generally not be able to conclude or execute the contract with you.

  2. Automated Decision Making

    In principle, we do not use automated decision-making in accordance with Art. 22 GDPR to establish and implement the business relationship. If such a procedure is used, you will be informed separately if this is required by law.

9. Profiling

We process some of your data automatically with the aim of evaluating certain personal aspects and use this to be able to provide you with targeted information and advice about products. In order to only send you advertising that is suitable for you and to be able to inform you about products in a targeted manner, we have to evaluate your personal interests and aspects. Accordingly, we use cookies and evaluation tools.
